YOUTH NGO VELESUnited in Diversity
Our Values, Mision & Vision
Veles is a newly founded independent organization located in Zagreb, Croatia in 2019. Our team consists of youth workers with experience in informal education and volunteer work, determined to promote a more open-minded and responsible environment. We tackle problems like ecology, environment and wildlife protection, self-development and personal growth, social inclusion, gender equality and human rights, entrepreneurship, sports and active lifestyle. Our mission is to promote these ideas across less developed areas in Croatia and Europe further through informal education. We are constantly searching for new partners across Europe who share the same ideas and values.
A group of educated youth workers with experience in volunteer work, non-formal education, logistics, project management, visual and social design. Our members and volunteers possess a wide range of qualifications and competences, such as non-formal education and training, environmental studies, sustainability, social psychology, linguistics abilities, IT & electronics, statistics and databases, entrepreneurship, Erasmus+ programs, etc. Before founding of Veles, most members participated in different Erasmus + programs: Student Exchange, Traineeship, Youth Exchange, Training Course and EVS/ESC. Some of the members are still students, but most have a University degree. We have gathered together and formed Veles because we want to work together and promote youth work Croatia. For now we are Erasmus+ oriented.
